MFOI’s special program for farmers in Satna
August 10, 2024, the MFOI Samriddh Kisan Utsav was organized in Satna district, Madhya Pradesh, in collaboration with DRI Krishi Vigyan Kendra (Satna). The event was sponsored by Mahindra Tractors, operated with the support of Somani Seeds and Dhanuka Agritech Limited, and partnered with ICAR. The theme of the event was “Maximizing Farmers Income for a Prosperous India, aiming to connect farmers with the latest practices and innovations in agriculture. The one-day festival focused on innovations in the tractor industry for pest and disease management in paddy crops, attracting the participation of over 225 farmers.
Farmers Informed About Pest Management:
Collector Anurag Verma instructed the diagnostic team members to conduct field visits to assess the impact of pests on crops. This initiative will enable prompt protective measures for the crops, offering significant benefits to local farmers. Through this initiative, farmers will gain knowledge of new technologies, helping improve both the quality and yield of their crops. The MFOI initiative aims to raise awareness not only at the state level but also at the national level.
