PM Kisan 18th Installment: Release Date and Farmer Eligibility Details


The Central Government has already disbursed 17 installments under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, and the beneficiaries are eagerly awaiting the 18th installment. The funds are transferred directly into the bank accounts of eligible farmers through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). 

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana provides financial assistance to farmers across the country. Each registered farmer receives an annual amount of ₹6,000 in three installments, helping them cover essential agricultural expenses.

When Will the 18th Installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Be Released?

So far, the government has issued 17 installments under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The Central Government typically releases ₹2,000 per installment, three times a year, at four-month intervals. Farmers are now anxiously waiting to know when the 18th installment will be released. According to the latest updates, the 18th installment is expected to be transferred directly into farmers’ bank accounts via DBT in October 2024. This installment will provide crucial support to farmers in covering their agricultural costs. 

To date, more than 9 crore farmers across the country have received over ₹21,000 crores through the 17th installment of this scheme.

Who May Not Receive the 18th Installment?

Certain farmers may not receive the 18th installment if they meet any of the following conditions:

– The farmer’s KYC is incomplete on the portal, and DBT is not enabled in their bank account.

– Land records and Aadhaar seeding in bank accounts are not updated.

– Any member of the registered farmer’s family holds a government job.

– Any member of the farmer’s family is a taxpayer.

– The family’s income exceeds ₹2,50,000 annually.

Registration Process

To benefit from this scheme, farmers need to register by following these steps:

1. Visit the official PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana website.

2. The homepage will appear before you.

3. Click on the “New Farmer Registration” option, where you’ll find two choices: Rural Farmer Registration and Urban Farmer Registration. Select the appropriate option based on your area.

4. Fill in your details and the CAPTCHA, then submit.

5. A One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to the verified Aadhaar number; enter it and submit the form.

By following these steps, farmers can ensure they receive the financial support provided by the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, aiding them in managing essential agricultural expenses.
